DIABETES: IT’S IMPACT ON INCARCERATED AND RETURNED CITIZENS

The burden of chronic conditions, like diabetes, is disproportionately carried by Blacks and other people of color facing social disadvantages (e.g., those with experiences of incarceration).

Healing Our Land Ministries is partnering with the African American Diabetes Association, Boston Black News, Boston Praise Radio & TV, and Union Capital Boston, to present a series of  Live radio and TV broadcast along with LIVE and remote workshops to educate incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals and their families about diabetes.
