DeeDee’s Cry Presents Mental Health While Black PT.2 Virtual

DeeDee’s Cry is named after my sister who died by suicide at the age of 23. I started DeeDee’s Cry in 2017 after I noticed that organizations that focus on mental health and suicide prevention didn’t have their events in the Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan neighborhoods of Boston. DeeDee’s Cry creates events and activities about mental health awareness and suicide prevention for communities of color.

DeeDee’s Cry believes that when we share our stories that we chip away at the stigma that surrounds mental health in communities of color. If you would like to support DeeDee’s Cry email deedeescry@yahoo.com for more information.

This event will be streamed on Toy Burton and DeeDee’s Cry Facebook page.
