Commonwealth Chorale Concert “The Dream Unfinished”

We conclude our season by giving voice to “the dream unfinished”, a poignant reminder that we don’t yet all share the same opportunities, freedoms, and liberties that are this country’s founding ideals. Our program includes Florence Price’s Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight and William Grant Still’s Plain-Chant for America, plus works by Randall Thompson, Margaret Bonds, André Thomas, Dorothy Rudd Moore, and Irving Berlin.

Join us, baritone Philip Lima, and pianist Valerie Becker as  we celebrate the American Dream’s ideals and the hope of realizing a world where people of all backgrounds can coexist harmoniously. Tickets are $40 ($10 for students; ID needed 14 and up) and are available at the door or through CommonwealthChorale.com/tickets. Admission is free for EBT/WIC card holders.
