Concert
Chamber Music at Shirley Place
Enjoy a charming and witty selection of popular songs and academic chamber pieces from the post-Revolutionary era at The Shirley-Eustis House! On September 24 at 1pm, we will host the inaugural concert for our Babcock pianoforte live at Shirley Place in Roxbury, MA. In this specially programmed event, pianist Mark Kroll and violinist Carol Lieberman will give us a taste of what was playing in America’s drawing rooms when residents Governor and Madame Eustis lived at Shirley Place in the 1820s. The program includes works by Mozart and Bach as well as the early American composer James Hewitt. Join us for this truly immersive event! Refreshments will be provided at intermission.
Seating is limited. A select number of tickets will be available at no cost to EBT recipients. Call (617)-442-2275 for more information.
