Brazilian Dance Class Series

Brazilian Dance Class Series
Master teacher and choreographer Isaura Oliveira from Bahia, Brazil is leading a FREE Brazilian Dance Seriesat the Roxbury Branch Library. Blending history, spirituality, and art-making, participants will learn Brazilian movements based on elements of nature and explore how they support our wellbeing and everyday life.
  • This program is open to youth and adults with two special Monday classes for teens.
  • This is an opportunity for your students to learn about Afro-indigenous cultures which are not often represented in literature and academic studies as well as explore ways to express themselves creatively through movement.
  • Previous dance experience is not necessary, and anyone interested can attend any and all events in the series.

Teens Special Classes
