This is a big dill! On Saturday, June 22nd, the Boston Pickle Fair is back for its second year, and ready to celebrate all things pickled. For one day only, the Pickle Fair is setting up shop to bring a festival filled with outdoor music, games, contests, vendors, and so many samples to the Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport.
Whether you’re a Kimchi lover or Kraut is more your style, the Pickle Fair is bringing together New England’s hottest pickle brands for a full day of fermented fun. This year’s dill devotees can expect to see all of their favorite vendors paired with an exciting lineup of new additions. Returning favorites include Down the Road Brewing Company, hosting an outdoor beer garden experience featuring their sell-out dill pickle sour ale: Sam-Sam the Pickle Man, made in collaboration with Boston’s beloved Grillo’s Pickles. Grillo’s is also bringing their all-natural goodies to this year’s Fair, while a roving brass band spices things up as they make their way around the grounds and DIY-ers have the chance to get their own name out there, with the Home Pickling Competition. In addition, attendees can head to nearby Flour Bakery & Café and Chickadee restaurant to snack on limited-edition pickle creations in honor of this year’s event.
Other vendors at the 2019 Boston Pickle Fair include:
Brine Brothers
Farm Ferments
Flatbread Company
Horman’s Best
Maitland Mountain
Patty Mac’s Pickles
Real Pickles
The Bacon Truck
The Pretentious Pickle Company
With more to come!
