An Afternoon Festival of Storytelling featuring Geraldine Barney and Athene Wilson
New Repertory Theatre’s afternoon festival of storytelling, taking place at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, includes Solo Moments and We Celebrate: Storytelling through Song, Music, and Sound.
Solo Moments, an hour long experience, showcases artists sharing stories through a variety of mediums including spoken word, movement, and music. Featured artists include Fulani Haynes, Jessica Natalie Smith and McKersin Previlus.
We Celebrate: Storytelling through Song, Music, and Sound will feature Geraldine Barney, a singer, songwriter and visual artist from the eastern part of the Navajo Nation, and Athene Wilson, a jazz, gospel, and R&B local favorite. The pair is collaborating for the first time to bring our audiences a one-of-a-kind musical experience!
