Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health serves to join some of the Boston area’s finest restaurants with local celebrities to help raise funds for critical women’s health programs. With supporters like Mayor Menino, Governor Patrick, Vince Wilfork, and Dorchester native John King, Men of Boston has been named one of the ten best food and wine events in Boston for consecutive years by BizBash. This year’s event will feature over 25 restaurants including Ashmont Grill, Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Cooking for our guests this year will be Celtic’s Alum Jo Jo White, Globe Columnist Adrian Walker, WBZ Anchor Jonathan Elias and many more!
Since 1995, Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health has raised crucial funds to combat women’s health disparities in issues such as breast cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and HIV/AIDS for over 20,000 women in Dorchester. Over one hundred dollars of every ticket sold goes directly to supporting women’s health programs, such as funding the cost of a mammogram, sponsoring prenatal women’s groups or supporting our innovative healthy weight initiatives for women.
