National cable organization seeking diverse students for networking, scholarshipsThe Walter Katz Foundation is seeking young people to attend their third annual Millennials Program on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 during the National Cable and Telecommunications Association’s Cable Show at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The networking program is free for female students and students of color. Participating students become eligible for three school book scholarships simply by registering for the event. The one-day program is designed to educate young people about the cable industry by exposing them to business opportunities in telecommunications and digital media. Women and students of color now enrolled in two- or four-year, accredited institutions of higher learning are encouraged to participate. Participants will be eligible for a first prize award of $500. |
