Boston Farmer’s Markets Kid’s Day!
Join the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness (BCFF) for some family fun at your farmer’s market. Kid’s Day! is a series of eight events at farmer’s markets across the city featuring children’s activities like crafts, cooking demonstrations, and fun ways to be physically active for kids of all ages. Nancy Kasen of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center acknowledges how important physical activity is: “Regular physical activity combined with healthy and safe eating are very important for people of all ages and starts with families – cook, eat, and be active together.” So bring the kids, shop your neighborhood market fresh and healthy local food, and have some fun together!
Kids Day! is being sponsored by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a proud supporter of farmer’s markets and healthy, local food.
