Festival Betances

Known as New England’s longest-running Latino cultural celebration, the annual Festival Betances is bigger than ever this year. The festival’s host, Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with world-renowned Latin music acts such as Andy Montañez and Giro López, food stalls, game tournaments, special guests and raffles. Boston’s black-owned business pop-up market

Roxbury Community College fourth annual Roxbury Rocks Music Festival

Town hall to end incarceration

Hosted by local organizations Families for Justice as Healing and Sisters Unchained, this town hall event at Roxbury’s Freedom House will be an opportunity for community members to discuss the criminal justice system in Massachusetts, how it affects women, girls and their families and how to end incarceration. Dorchester Brewing turns two
