Newton resident Angela Pitter was recently elected chair of the board of directors for the Charles River Regional Chamber.
Pitter is the founder and CEO of LiveWire Collaborative, a digital marketing firm based in Newton.
The Boston University graduate received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the university, acquiring a bachelor of science in computer engineering and then a master’s in administration with a concentration in technology and innovation.
Philanthropically inclined, Pitter has been a member of the Newton School Committee, is currently a council member of the Black Alumni Leadership Council at Boston University, and is a founding member of Newton Coalition for Black Residents.
Prior to her appointment as board chair, she was a member of the diversity and inclusion committee.
Pitter has volunteered with the Massachusetts Conference for Women on its social media street team since 2014. She has been featured in a myriad of prominent news outlets throughout the commonwealth, including WCVB-TV’s “Chronicle” and has been a keynote speaker at the Massachusetts Conference for Women.
Her company, LiveWire Collaborative, is one of the preeminent digital marketing firms in Massachusetts, using artificial intelligence to bolster its marketing solutions in the digital age and specializing in assisting smaller businesses, consultants, and coaches to take advantage of digital marketing.
In addition to LiveWire Collaborative, Pitter is a highly sought-after public speaker and does LinkedIn team training as well as C-Suite Coaching.
The Charles River Regional Chamber is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization with offices in Newton, Needham, Watertown and Wellesley.
