About Mill Cities Community Investments (MCCI) and Foundation for Business Equity (FBE):

In 2022, the Foundation for Business Equity (FBE) merged with Mill Cities Community Investments (MCCI). MCCI is a community development financial institution (CDFI) focused on providing innovative lending and financing solutions for businesses and homeowners. The merger enables us to expand our offerings of loan and equity capital products to our small business ecosystem.

Businesses need a sound business model and strategic plan, the capital to achieve their plan and revenue to drive growth. Entrepreneurs of color face three primary interwoven barriers: access to advice, access to capital and access to markets. Through our signature program, the Business Equity Initiative (BEI), we help to close the racial wealth gap by scaling businesses of color.
