Jackie Jenkins-Scott, president of Wheelock College, is known for her ability to transform and innovate. She recently received recognition during the 4th Anniversary celebration of Get Konnected!

Scott, along with six other local women, were identified by Get Konnected! as some of the most influential, socially conscious and committed people in the Boston area. Each woman has made significant contributions to Boston through their professional and civic work.

Jackie Jenkins-Scott is the13th president of Wheelock College, Boston, Mass. Under her leadership, Wheelock has strengthened its core undergraduate and graduate academic programs, enhanced the undergraduate experience, and expanded the college’s reach internationally.

From 1983 until 2004, Jenkins-Scott served as the president and chief executive officer of the Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury.

Prior to that, she held several positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Departments of Public and Mental Health. As a community leader, public health advocate, and innovative administrator, she has been a nationally known figure for nearly 30 years.
