From the Formula One racing world, Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton, the seven-time Formula One world champion race car driver, tied with Michael Schumacher at the top of the all-time list. His all-time total of 104 Formula One victories is the best of all-time in F1 history.

Hamilton, a Black man from England who received knighthood back in 2021 for his ground-breaking, history-making achievements in Formula One auto racing, won his country’s Grand Prix race for a record ninth time, snapping a three-year/56-race absence from the victory podium.

The 39-year-old, who will end his longtime relationship with Mercedes following this season to join Ferrari Racing, is the oldest F1 race winner since Nigel Mansell (1994) and the oldest to win his home country’s race since Juan Manuel Fangio (1958). Hamilton also holds the distinction of being a Formula One winner of more than 300 races (344). This victory is yet another outstanding feat by a mixed-race child, born poor in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England.
