Bay State Banner Boston H.S. Basketball State Champions Night at the Celtics

Boston, MA April 12, 2024 –The Bay State Banner is hosting three Boston high school teams that recently won the coveted Massachusetts High School Basketball State Championships at the Boston Celtics vs. Charlotte Hornets game tonight. Read about their state championship wins in The Banner.

Cathedral High, Charlestown High, and New Mission High Schools all reached the ultimate goal in their divisions. The Banner is celebrating their success by sponsoring all 48 championship players and their coaches for a night at the Boston Celtics on Friday, April 12, at TD Garden.

Through this effort, the weekly newspaper — Black-owned since 1965 — continues its commitment to the community through support of Boston youth sports.
