The Bay State Banner would like to express our sincere condolences over the passing of Boston reporting legend Sarah-Ann Shaw. Ms. Shaw was the first Black female reporter at WBZ-TV and mentored generations of young journalists. Look for our tribute in the next edition of the paper.

Sarah Ann’s family wanted people to be aware that their loved one had been battling Alzheimer’s Disease, which more people should be aware of, and other illnesses.
