American values at stake in 2020 election

In his presidential bid to “Build Back Better,” Joe Biden promised more than to restore the nation’s economic might. He plans for his administration to implement the vow of the Founding Fathers as expressed in the Declaration of Independence — “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The battle to implement these objectives continues. Prior presidents have had to make it illegal to enslave others, to deny women the vote, or to discriminate against citizens because of race, gender or sexual orientation. Joe Biden has a great task before him to implement the unfulfilled goals stated in the nation’s declaration.

Biden needs the support of the voters to get the job done!!
