New construction at Roxbury Community College (RCC) is now complete; our new, state-of-the-art facilities now match the long-standing quality of our academic programs. The College recently completed $72.5 million in renovations; and, our fully-renovated Media Arts Center, new Student Commons, Library, Learning Center, STEM labs and Health Sciences Building are renovated and fully-open for the fall 2018 semester.

Our Corporate & Professional Education Office is located in the new Health Sciences Building; and, we’re offering a full suite of Health Sciences training programs, to meet Boston employers’ constant demand for highly qualified specialists.

Pharmacy Technician Program: Offered through our partnership with CVS Health
This 270-hour program includes a 150-hour internship at CVS Health! Graduates are prepared to take the National Pharmacy Training Certification (PTCB) exam. Evening classes begin on September 10, 2018, and daytime classes start on September 18, 2018.
Clinical Medical Assistant Program: Join this program to prepare yourself to join the healthcare sector in a clinical environment. Clinical medical assistants are called on to assist with the administration of medications, to perform minor procedures, to obtain lab specimens, and more. Classes start on October 2, 2018.
In addition to the courses listed above, we’re offering courses that lead to employment as EKG technicians, home health aides, veterinarian assistants, and more.

We believe it’s never too early or late to reinvent yourself or learn new skills. Our Lifelong Learning courses offer something for everyone, whether you’re 6 or 76! Lifelong Learning provides a variety of non-credit programming from Spanish and grant writing, to starting your own business and real estate pre-licensing, to HiSET/GED and ESOL classes. We even offer “Kids to College” programming, along with free seminars and events open to the community.
