Jane C. Edmonds has been elected chair of Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries’ board of directors. Edmonds is vice president of Programming and Community Outreach at Babson College. She succeeds Bob Gittens, who is the executive director of Cambridge Family and Children’s Services.
“Goodwill has always been a positive social force and a leader for good,” said Edmonds, who has served on the Goodwill board since 2012. “As chair, I look forward to working with my colleagues on the board as we continue to support and advance the Goodwill mission in the community.”
“Jane’s contributions to Goodwill as a board member have always been strategic, thoughtful, and forward-thinking,” said Joanne Hilferty, President and CEO of Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries. “Goodwill is fortunate to have a leader like Jane at the helm of our board.”
