Marketing Liaison

The Marketing Liaison will be responsible for the sales territory development through marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to research of target market, cold calling, prospecting, identification of referral barriers, meeting with prospective referral sources and closing, developing census as defined through targeted goals of the marketing plan, developing referral relationships within the target geographic region/territory with an emphasis on face-to-face contacts, and understanding and meeting the need of the referral sources. The Marketing Liaison will be the first point of contact for resolving issues and concerns as they relate to referral sources including health care providers, hospital staff, business/employers, patients and the general public and will be representing the Harbor Health Community Health Centers (Boston and Plymouth, MA locations) in community-related activities including community events and health fairs, developing & implementing marketing outreach activities to increase the volume of various ethnic groups and functions as the point person for the execution of all marketing campaigns as assigned by the Director of Marketing.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s in Healthcare Marketing or related field, with concentration in marketing, 2 years of experience in marketing, community outreach and/or consultive sales, excellent communication, presentation, customer service, creative and problem solving skills, experience with public speaking, experience and proven success in working in diverse communities, knowledge of and ability to network with community resources, ability to work independently and as part of a team in collaboration with other professionals, ability to set priorities and observe deadlines, Intermediate Level Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook and experience using CRM software such as Salesforce to track and record the outreach process for referral sources and business contacts.

Substitutions for Skills, Experience and Education: 4 years of related Marketing Experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements: Data collection and reporting experience, bilingual Vietnamese/ Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese and English highly desired.
