Simmons School of Social Work is seeking MSW & BSW adjunct instructors with interest and teaching experience in the following areas: social work practice, human behavior, social policy, research, group work, and advanced clinical electives. SBIRT Health Professions Training Project
The Simmons School of Social Work (SSW) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Agency (SAMHSA) funded project provides training in Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) to MSW faculty and students, nursing students, field instructors and other health professionals.
Positions available include:
Project Manager: Oversees administration of program. Responsible for meeting project deadlines, coordinating trainings, and managing communication with an advisory council, program evaluator and clinical trainers. Supervises project staff.
Director of Clinical Training: Provides SBIRT trainings to SSW faculty, field instructors and community teams. Teaches SBIRT content in the SSW’s MSW program.
Clinical Educator (.5): Provides technical assistance and trainings to agency staff and field instructors.
Positions require a minimum of a Master’s Degree. Occasional travel required.
