Wambura Mitaru

It’s another music-filled weekend in Boston. Here’s a look at what’s hot in and around the city!

Tonight (Thursday), the classically trained Nairobi, Kenya native Wambura Mitaru performs her sophisticated hybrid of soul, R&B and jazz mix at Harborwalk Sounds beginning at 6 p.m. at the ICA.

Beginning this Friday thru Sunday is the annual Newport Jazz Festival at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island.
