Five acre Roxbury site goes up for auction
Former Radius hospital to be sold
For sale: 159,000 square-foot hospital building complex on five acres of prime Roxbury land. Bids due August 10.
For nearly a year, the former Radius hospital building on Townsend Street has sat vacant. Last year, city officials considered re-locating drug treatment programs formerly housed at the Long Island homeless shelter at the Radius building, but backed down in the face of community opposition.
Radius is now in bankruptcy. The court-appointed receiver for the Townsend Street property, New York-based Keen Summit Capital Partners, LLC, will auction the property on August 13, with bids due on the 10th.
