St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children of Dorchester, a community-based organization, seeks qualified and motivated individuals to work in its residential programs. All positions require a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.

Start date for all relief positions: July 13, 2015

Relief/Per Diem positions available – Hourly rate of pay is $14.00

BRIDGE HOME Relief Residential Counselors a short-term residential program providing stabilization and assessment for abused and neglected children:

Provide a safe secure environment for residents and serve as a positive role model following program guidelines for professional behavior. Requires 1-3 years of residential experience. BA in Human Services or equivalent year’s experience.

ST. MARY’S HOME Relief Parent Educators, a residential program for pregnant and parenting teens.

Provide parent education, and co-lead therapeutic and skill-based groups for teens and their children during the 3-11 pm shift. Requires 1-3 years of experience working with pregnant and parenting teens. BA in Human Services or equivalent year’s experience.

MARGARET’S HOUSE Relief Family Advocates an adult female-head of household shelter.

Provide a safe secure environment for residents and serve as a positive role model following program guidelines for professional behavior. Requires 1-3 years of residential experience. BA in Human Services or equivalent years’ experience.

All Relief Employees must commit to 16 hours per week/
