Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) seeks a self-motivated professional with unwavering integrity and dedication. Reporting to Office Manager and Vice President of Programs, you will provide administrative support to the Office Manager and MPDC’s departments, while being afforded opportunities for professional development in the area of office administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular front desk coverage including managing a multi-line phone system.
  • Assist the Office Manager with managing office functions.
  • Help maintain all office equipment and ordering of supplies.
  • Perform certain secretarial and administrative duties for the organization such as data entry, word processing, filing, making phone calls, etc.
  • Schedule appointments and weekly meetings for the various departments.
  • Assist the Resource Development Manager in the preparation of grant proposals, research into potential funding opportunities, development of corporate sponsorships, and other funding solicitation materials.
  • Establish and maintain sign-in and attendance records for meetings and special events.
  • Assist with correspondence, memorandums, and data forms for the various departments.
  • Take MPDC routine deposits to the bank once weekly or as needed.
  • Assist the Communications Manager with the production and distribution of documents and material related to public relations efforts, promotional material for events, etc.
  • Serves as a member of the “administrative team”
  • Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • 1–3 years’ experience, with exposure to community, housing, real estate or administrative work preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including workload management and the ability to complete appropriate projects with a minimum supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects while performing at a high level in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; a strong work ethic; an entrepreneurial spirit; and capacity to assume broad responsibilities and manage shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated “can do”, customer service, and problem-solving approach to work.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and interested in learning within a fast-paced, fast-growing organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with a diverse public.
