It’s all about theatre, comedy, and music this weekend in Boston. Here’s a look at what’s hot in the city!

The Boston Book Festival begins today, Thursday, October 23 and runs through Sunday, October 26 in Copley Square. For a schedule of events, visit www.bostonbookfest.org.

Marlon Wayans performs stand-up comedy at The Wilbur on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets: $35; www.ticketmaster.com.

On Saturday, Company One presents the New England premiere of The Displaced Hindu Gods Trilogy loosely inspired by the Hindu trinity of Brahma the creator, Vishnu the protector, and Shiva the destroyer at the Boston Center for the Arts, Plaza Theatres.
