Thai Lee, head of largest minority- and woman-owned business in U.S. honored
Thai Lee, president and CEO of one of the U.S.’s top-20 IT companies SHI International Corp., has been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list, and has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers. Headquartered in Somerset, N.J., SHI is the largest minority- and woman-owned business in the United States.

Thai Lee, president and CEO of one of the U.S.’s top-20 IT companies SHI International Corp., has been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list, and has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers. With headquarters in Somerset, N.J., SHI is the largest minority- and woman-owned business in the United States.
The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel. The Power 50 honors an elite subset of female executives at solution provider organizations who are extending their respective company’s sphere of influence as trusted advisers.
Founded by Lee in 1989, SHI is a provider of technology products and services. In 2013, the company had $5 billion in revenue. The company has 2,500 employees is ranked 17th among CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list of North American IT solution providers.
