Treach and Kay Gee from Naughty by Nature and the man of the hour Ja Rule turned it up at the jam-packed House of Blues for HOT 96.9’s Throwback Party. They performed all their best hits with Treach as the gruff front man and DJ Kay Gee spinning it back to the “Naughty ‘90s” with “Hip Hop Hooray,” “Uptown Anthem,” “O.P.P.” and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” Ja Rule brought the swagger and his more playful side to his hits, “Always On Time,” “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny.” It obviously worked because the women were so taken with Ja that they began throwing their bras on stage. Like Ja Rule’s hit, the women were “Living it Up.”
