Mayor Martin Walsh and members of the Roxbury Strategic Master Plan Oversight Committee will hold a community forum to discuss life, work and education in Roxbury at the James P. Timilty Middle School on May 19 at 6 p.m. This forum will replace the committee’s regularly scheduled working session.
Topics from the committee’s previous working session included status updates on a proposed hotel and residence and a proposed housing development at the intersection of Melnea Cass Boulevard and Washington Street; Tremont Crossing mixed-use building development on Tremont Street across from the Boston Police Headquarters; and the Bartlett Place housing and retail development for the Bartlett Yard, at 2565 Washington St.
