The Dimock Center has been granted $50,000 by the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust. The grant, announced last week, recognizes the Roxbury-based community health center for its work in chronic disease management.
The Dimock Center will use the grant for its hypertension improvement program, which integrates clinical pharmacy with primary care to help hypertensive patients.
The Centers for Disease Control estimates that more than 30 percent of adults suffer hypertension.
