Corporate Vice President for the Elder Service Plan

This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic and operational direction in a dynamic and expanding Medicare-Medicaid capitated program providing all inclusive care to frail elders with the goal of maintaining them in the community. The PACE model of care provides the most comprehensive array of healthcare services, all under one umbrella. The Corporate Vice President has the unique opportunity to integrate strong interdisciplinary team care with innovative financing.

The Corporate Vice President is responsible for the Clinical and Financial oversight of the program. Duties include but are not limited to Developing and maintaining strategies to assure strong, comprehensive interdisciplinary care while utilizing efficient fiscal approaches, providing direction to improve quality of participant outcomes, assuring maximum capitated reimbursement and systems for accurate and authorized payment for contracted services and institutional utilization, developing and monitoring the program budget, maintaining a strong working knowledge of current and proposed regulations affecting clinical service delivery, fiscal management and compliance requirements and assuring program and staff are in full compliance and striving to demonstrate best practices.

The Corporate Vice President is also responsible for directing marketing and enrollment strategies, developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with external regulatory bodies and professional associations and actively representing the Elder Service Plan to community, educational and service programs and may provide advocacy for program at State and Federal level.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements:

Master’s Degree in related field, 10 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and directing the operations of a Health Care organization, 3-5 years of experience in home care or community health setting, direct experience in program development, personnel management and supervision and fiscal management (including Medicare and Medicaid), strong verbal and written communication skills.


Substitutions for Skills, Experience and Education:

7-10 years of additional strong health care management experience may be substituted for the Master’s Degree.
