Resident Engineers/Clerk of Works – DCAMM
Boston and statewide, including Central, North and South Shore, and Western Massachusetts
Seeking Resident Engineers/Clerk of Works to monitor various Public construction projects statewide, including CM@Risk, new construction, renovations, environmental, accelerated energy, BIM.
The Resident Engineer observes and documents daily ongoing construction to monitor job progress; ensures General Contractor complies with project plans/specifications; schedule/coordinates all onsite testing with the Designer and ensures all tests conducted properly; confers with Designer, General Contractor, and Project Manager/Project Engineer to maintain project quality control, continuity, consistency and ensures adherence to contract, applicable construction methods, procedures and safety requirements, helps prepare general contractor performance evaluation and final release.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum BA in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent expertise; 5+ yrs exp. Min ten yrs (10) construction supervision exp may be considered in lieu of a BA degree. Qualified applicant has thorough knowledge of building construction methods, familiarity with applicable state/federal codes. Licensed Construction Supervisor.
