Elizabeth (Betty) Burns of Topsfield, Mass., was recently named to the board of directors of the Elizabeth Stone House of Roxbury. The Elizabeth Stone House (ESH) is a family shelter and community support center for families who are survivors of domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health issues and homelessness.

Burns is a senior vice president managing the Business Operations group for Natixis Global Asset Management — U.S. Natixis is a global financial services firm based in Boston and Paris.

Burns is responsible for Affiliate Sales Support working with the various investment management firms that fall under the Natixis umbrella in the United States.   

“Natixis Global Asset Management has been an exceptional partner, providing immeasurable support to the Stone House and our residents,” said Nancy Owens Hess, executive director of the Elizabeth Stone House. “Betty shares our passion and commitment to eradicate domestic violence and her wealth of business experience and leadership will provide incredible insight to the mission of our Board.”

Burns has more than 32 years of financial services experience. She has been with Natixis for over 25 years serving in numerous roles within the firm including sales support, marketing and business operations.
