Daisy Belle Almieda, of Boston, born April 17, 1929 in Cusseta, Ga.; she is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Gus and Vessie Estella Harris, died on Oct. 26, 2011.
Daisy is the beloved wife of George Gomes Almieda, II, loving and devoted mother of Gregory G. Almieda, III. She was a member of Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; Eureka Butler Chapter #116 and The Independent Order of Mechanics Rising Star Chapter No 5.
She leaves to mourn her passing her sister Annie V. Davis of Chicago, Ill., and her brother Calvin Harris of Easton, Mass. She is also survived by five grandsons, two great-grandchildren, and her goddaughter, Sandra Malloy and her BFF (best friend forever), Lillie Malloy; many nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends.
