Sam Belnavis
The Ten80 Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics to underserved populations, recently announced the appointment of Sam Belnavis as its new chairman of the Board.
Belnavis has a long time association with motorsports and NASCAR. His experience ranges from that of a team owner to the chief diversity officer and owner designate of Roush Fenway’s Truck program. As former director of sports marketing for Miller Brewing Company, senior vice president of Saatchi and Saatchi Advertising Agency and owner of his own marketing agency, Belnavis brings many business and marketing talents to the Ten80 Board.
Jeannie Ruiz, executive director of the Ten80 Foundation, says, “Sam is a powerhouse, and we are extremely proud to have his expertise, energy and vision on our Board,” she said. “I have no doubt that he will be an incredible asset to the Foundation.”
As a 501.C3 Corporation, Ten80 Foundation is dedicated to helping youth improve critical thinking and problem solving skills through the active application of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
“After working to open doors all my life, I’m fortunate to be able to help schools build STEM programs,” said Belnavis.
