Callie Crossley
WGBH Radio recently announced the launching of “The Callie Crossley Show,” hosted by award-winning journalist Callie Crossley. The hour-long show airs at 1p.m. on 89.7, Boston’s National Public Radio station, on Monday through Friday.
Crossley, an occasional moderator for WGBH’s “Basic Black” and regular panelist on “Beat the Press,” offers a daily discussion of daily events, local happenings, arts and culture, and water cooler buzz. “I look forward to being part of this new chapter for WGBH, exploring stories of the region and using the tremendous resources we have here to provide another way for people to expand their knowledge,” Crossley stated.
A well-established television and radio commentator, Crossley is also a contributor to FOX 25TV’s “Morning Show.” Crossley has won nearly every top film and broadcast journalism prize, including a national Emmy, a Peabody, an Edward R. Murrow, and the Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia award (Gold Baton). A former producer for ABC’s “20/20,” she is now Program Manager for the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard and a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow.
