Tonight (Thursday) over at the Middle East Restaurant & Nightclub in Central Square, East Coast Soul performs funk, soul and R&B starting at 9 p.m. General Admission: $5. 18+

This Friday, it’s an evening of R&B and soul with singer Melissa Bolling at Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen starting at 7 p.m. www.darrylscornerbarboston.com.

Also on Friday evening, The Scotch Bonnet Band performs a blend of reggae, jazz and soul at the Beat Hotel at 10 p.m. www.beathotel.com.

On Saturday, Hot Stove Cool Music returns for its 15th Anniversary hosted by Theo Epstein and Peter Gammons to benefit The Foundation To Be Named Later at the Paradise Rock Club.
