Brenda Harley

Brenda Harley has joined the Eos Foundation as the Executive Assistant in the Boston office.  In this role, she provides assistance and support to the Eos staff and handles a wide array of administrative duties for the foundation, as well as supporting the needs of Boston Rising, a new fund to fight poverty that the Eos Foundation is incubating.  Harley comes to the Eos Foundation with over twenty years of experience working for CEOs at several public and private institutions.

“The Eos Foundation is proud to have Brenda join us,” said Andrea Silbert, president of the Eos Foundation.  “As a foundation that is committed to both the local Boston community and the larger Massachusetts community, it was important for us to find someone that is passionate about giving back and inspiring change.  Brenda’s experience, drive, and commitment to the community make her an invaluable asset to the foundation.”

Brenda is dedicated to volunteerism and serving her community, and is a former board member of the Harriet Baldwin Early Learning Center in Brighton, Mass. and the Hattie B. Cooper Community Center in Roxbury, Mass.  She has worked on the Grant Review Committee at Wellington Management Company at Wellington Management Company, LLP and also served as co-chair.  She is an advocate for children, teens, and the elderly, and has served in various leadership positions for non-profit public service organizations.

Brenda is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, an international public service organization of over 900 chapters and 200,000 women.  She has held several leadership positions where, most recently, she served as State Coordinator for the Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire chapters.  Brenda works with teenage at-risk girls and young college women at Northeastern University, Simmons College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and other colleges throughout Massachusetts.  She is a 1985 graduate of Alabama AandM University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
