"Around Town" Presents: Empowerment Breakfast Part II & Boston Asian American Film Festival

This week's Around Town is dedicated to Part II of the Pathway to Redemption organization's Empowerment Breakfast forum that is open to the public and presenting outstanding speakers and presenters talking about the effects of mass incarceration and how the importance of collaborating is the key to a successful return to the community and a new begining. Highlights include mayoral candidate and winner Marty Walsh, the Sheriff of Suffolk County, the director of employment and re-entry for the state, and a host of business people investing in job creation for the returning citizen. Pathway to Redemptions's services include employment & training, entrepreneurship, business development, mentorship, pastoral leadership and lastly, civic engagement.
