Over 250 people will gather on Wednesday, October 21st at The BASE to celebrate the success of their baseball and softball student athletes both on and off the field. They have much to be proud of this year, including the tremendous win The BASE had in Virginia where they won the Triple Crown Sports US Baseball Championship.

The BASE is comprised of elite players primarily from Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan. The program has grown in the past two years to include teams and leagues from Lowell, Lawrence, Malden and East Boston. Each player ‘earns their spot,’ and there is no fee to participate on the team, contrary to most elite suburban teams.
