Generational Lessons and Stories about Succeeding in Entrepreneurship

The HVM series will offer an ongoing series of talks, panels and interviews with former, current and future entrepreneurs, startup investors and innovation thought leaders. The moderator is Dr. James Jennings, of Tufts University. The panelist include Joyce Stanley, David Lee, Louis Elisa, and Virginia Morrison. This speaker series was created to support, encourage, and inspire residents students, local business owners and researchers in entrepreneurial pursuits. The Speaker Series will highlight and bring high-profile entrepreneurs and pioneering thought-leaders to the community/neighborhood to share their unique perspectives on startup strategies and trends impacting business. The series will link investors with entrepreneurs and pilot customers in a highly interactive format, to tackle and probe critical issues, challenges and opportunities in neighborhood development, wealth creation, sustainability and social justice. The series will serve as a nexus for scholars, entrepreneurs, and both current and new change makers interested in equity, technologies, business practices, and social processes that have given rise to inclusive community development.
