Eastern Bank to Host Celebration of Boston’s Innovation Youth

Two leaders of youth development and workforce readiness in the Greater Boston area, Press Pass TV and Resilient Coders, have come together to offer an unique project based tech summer program. This first of its kind Media Leadership Institute (MLI) teaches the participants the digital media and web development skills necessary to compete in today’s 21st century society.

Eastern Bank will host Bearing Witness: Demo Day & Screening, the MLI celebration and graduation ceremony, this coming Thursday August 27, 2015 from 6-8pm. The event will debut the students’ short films and showcase the snow removal application for the City of Boston, and feature musical performances by B4 Records. Meghan Verena Joyce, General Manager of Uber East Coast, will provide opening remarks.

Bearing Witness comes to Boston on the heels of Press Pass TV being selected as most innovative organization working with at risk youth in the 12th annual Social Innovation Showcase. Resilient Coders has recently been selected to the 2015 cohort of MassChallenge and both organizations are portfolio members of Technology Underwriting Greater Good (T.U.G.G.)
