Children’s Auditions for The Nutcracker. José Mateo Ballet Theatre is looking for 200 children to fill 3 casts in the roles of Party Children, Mice, Soldiers, Angels, Court Attendants, Polichinelles, and Clara.

José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s 27th annual production of The Nutcracker will tour this holiday season to The Duxbury Performing Arts Center (November 28-30), The Sanctuary Theatre, Cambridge (December 4-14), and The Strand Theater, Dorchester (December 20-21). All children cast in the production will perform in all three locations.

They are audition hildren and teenagers ages 6-18 (Previous dance experience is not required for children ages 6-10). The auditions will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014, 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley Street, Roxbury. For more details call (617) 354-7467 or www.ballettheatre.org.
