This time of the year, the city is abuzz with a host of live performances from concerts and plays to theatre, art and even dining al fresco. Here’s a look at what’s hot in Boston this week!

Don’t miss “Summer Soul Tuesdays” at The Boston Harbor Hotel featuring Good Will & Them Apples this Tuesday evening. It’s part of the hotel’s annual “Summer InThe City” entertainment series. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. with free admission.

Every Tuesday, it’s “Timeless Tuesdays” at Bond in The Langham Hotel. See the latest in fashion at the weekly runway show and boutique featuring captivating looks from local and national designers beginning at 7:30 p.m.

On August 14, The Revere Hotel kicks off “R&R: Resort on the Rooftop,” a series of fashion shows every Wednesday night in August featuring looks from Lily & Mig. This Thursday, Berklee’s “Summer in the City” series presents “Tito Puente Latin Music Series: Latin Heartbeat Orchestra” performing at the East Boston Greenway – Caboose beginning at 7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

On Saturday, August 17, Dudley Square’s Common Thread Coalition hosts the Haley House Community Tables Out-Of-Doors Dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Haley House Bakery Café parking lot. There are no advance ticket sales and it is first come, first served!

Also on Saturday night, John Mayer & Phillip Phillips perform at the Comcast Center in Mansfield at 7:30 p.m.

Stand-up comedian Katt Williams is back! Don’t miss his performance at The Wilbur on Sunday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
