World Music/CRASHarts presents the Boston debut of Kings of Salsa at the Cutler Majestic Theatre, Thursday, Oct. 13 through Saturday, Oct. 15, featuring Cuba’s best young dancers and the spectacular 10-piece live band, Cuba Ashire, performing a stunning contemporary interpretation of Cuban classics: mambo, rumba and cha cha cha.

On Friday, Oct. 14 Exhale Lifestyle Magazine presents Top Dish, a sustainable culinary event celebrating local food. Top chefs of Boston will be demonstrating their talent as they create delicious dishes at the Epicenter in South Boston. The proceeds will benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Betsey Johnson comes to town for her fashion show at the Boston Center for the Arts, Cyclorama on Saturday, Oct. 15, with the proceeds benefitting the South End Community Health Center Breast Cancer Prevention Program.

ABCD celebrates its 37th Annual Community Awards Dinner at the Seaport World Trade Center on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m., featuring keynote speaker Boston Celtics Head Coach Doc Rivers.

The Color of Film Collaborative presents “Dinner and A Movie” at the Haley House Bakery Café on Friday, Oct. 28.
