ParkARTS, Berklee College of Music, and IBA (Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción) are pleased to present the 2013 Tito Puente Latin Music Series, part of the ParkARTS Citywide Neighborhood Performances.
The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s ParkARTS program is made possible through the generous support of Bank of America.
The Thursday night series for music lovers of all ages kicks off with Jeremy De Jesús y E.S.M. on July 11 at Mozart Street Playground, 10 Mozart Street, Jamaica Plain, and continues with three performances at O’Day Playground, 75 West Newton Street, South End, on July 18 with María Mulata featuring Esther Rojas, July 25 with Leo Blanco, and August 1 with Jimmy Bosch.
The series moves to Mission Hill Playground, 60 Smith Street, Mission Hill with Jesús Pagán y Orquesta on August 8 and the East Boston Greenway Caboose at Marginal and South Bremen Streets with the Latin Heartbeat Orchestra on August 15.
All locations are wheelchair accessible. In the event of inclement weather, the O’Day Playground concerts will move inside to Villa Victoria Center for the Arts and the East Boston Greenway concert will move indoors to Zumix, 260 Sumner Street.
