Re-membering Egypt: In Search of Osiris
By Hakim Raquib
In capturing the photographic images of Egypt Raquib refers to the allegory of the myth of Osiris, an Egyptian God that has been dismembered by his brother and scattered throughout the land. The Exhibition attempts to “assemble” Egypt highlighting the physical natural beauty of its people and the landscape.

In the Lower Gallery:
Cuba: Printed Stories
Norberto Marrero and Janette Brossard
Cuban artists Norberto Marrero and Janette Brossard tell stories of ordinary and staged life through etchings, screen prints, collagraphs, woodcuts and engravings.
Marrero’s work is presented as a theatrical stage, where certain characters and symbolic objects are combined. Janette Brossard’s images are extracted from everyday life, public places, and domestic environments. Curated by Latin Art Space.
