The Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston (the BMA) is hosting this event to honor three philanthropic individuals and organizations for their Decade of Dedication to building stronger communities in Boston. Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Girard Sargent, President, Citizens Bank of Massachusetts will be honored for his personal and organizational commitment to corporate citizenship, and accepting the award for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is Jeffrey Bellows, Vice President of Corporate Citizenship.

OUR GOAL: To sustain support four, critical BMA community building services reaching 4,900
youth and their families each year in Greater Boston and beyond, which include:
 Teen Cafés and Youth Jobs, trains 500 youth how to work and take responsibility;
 The High Risk Youth and the Girls’ Initiative Networks, works collaboratively with
144 nonprofits statewide to coordinate and better serve 3,900 system-involved youth; and
 The Victory Generation Program helps 500 youth to achieve academic success.
