PWOCN Participates in Boston's First Urban Arts Festival on July 27th, 12pm-6pm at Martini Memorial Shell Park
Boston, MA. – On July 27, 2013, the Professional Women of Color Network, Inc. (PWOCN) is scheduled to attend Boston’s first Urban Arts Festival to outreach to local women of color who are seeking meaningful professional connection and removing feeling of isolation in their personal and professional lives. PWOCN also plans to utilize the time to network with other organizations and artists since the Urban Arts Festival intends to provide a stage to display and encourage talents of artists in the Boston community. PWOCN will be able to encourage more women of color to become more active in their communities. The event will be held at the Martini Memorial Shell Park on Truman Parkway. The festival will run from 12pm-6pm. Children’s activities will run from 12pm-2pm and artistic performances will be between 2pm and 6pm.
PWOCN helps women of color enhance their professional and personal lives by providing opportunities for individual and collective growth. Its goal is to nurture the development of personal and professional connections. PWOCN caters to women at any point in their career. PWOCN provides a safe space for women of color and their families to build network with great artists in the Boston community.
